Stomach germ(H. pylori)

They are stomach-inflammatory bacteria that live and reproduce in the stomach-lining walls. Most people with spiral bacteria are asymptomatic and will never develop problems. However, hardship may occur, and feel pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen. Bacteria infect protective tissue lining the stomach, releasing certain enzymes and toxins and activating the immune system; Causing chronic inflammation in stomach walls gastroenteritis, or duodenitis.

 

 

Reasons

The infection is transmitted by the infected person's saliva or the sharing of pots with him, or by food and unclean water

Living with a germ-infected person
Lack of sanitized clean water
Living in developing and crowded countries
Black and Asian people

 


Symptoms

People with stomach germ often do not experience symptoms, however, some may have symptoms such as:
Heartburn
Impaired appetite
Dark stool
Anaemia
Nausea or vomiting
Bloating
Frequent burping

 


Complications

Inflammation of the stomach lining
Stomach ulcers
Internal bleeding
Stomach Cancer

 

When to see a doctor

Severe abdominal pain and persistent
Appearance of blood in vomiting
Appearance of blood in the stool
Unexplained weight loss

 

Prevention

Washing hands after using the bathroom
Ensure food is thoroughly washed and cooked correctly
Avoid sharing pots while eating and drinking
Avoid being in contaminated places
