The people of Luxor are thankful to Egypt Healthcare Authority for the initiative <your health is your wealth>, the first initiative to support the health of the man in Egypt.
The people of Luxor governorate expressed their happiness at the activities of the " your health is your wealth " initiative, the first initiative to support the health of men in Egypt, launched by Egypt Healthcare Authority in January of this year, throughout the governorate, and it’s from first governorates to implement Universal health insurance in the governorates at the level.
Egypt Healthcare Authority, headed by Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, Assistant Minister of Health and Population, General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, noted the success of the first phase of the " your health is your wealth " initiative in all parts of the country. The results of the initiative indicate that more than 8,000 beneficiaries in the 50-70 age group are screened free of charge through mobile clinics throughout the province for early detection of prostate diseases among men.
The initiative had used the latest global techniques for early detection of prostate diseases through blood analysis of PSA, noting that the initiative had targeted government interests and bodies, regions and public places, as well as religious squares and churches in all areas of the Luxor governorate.
She noted that the initiative had included a highly trained medical team and that cases found to have any diseases as a result of the analysis were being transferred to health-care authority hospitals to take the necessary action towards their treatment, in line with the efforts of State initiatives to maintain the public health of individuals.
