Egypt Healthcare Authority: Cooperation Protocol aimed at maximizing the possibilities of Egypt Healthcare Authority hospitals to provide outstanding medical care to arrivals in the Egyptian State
Egypt Healthcare Authority has signed a joint cooperation protocol with the Egyptian-Jordanian therapeutic tourism company at the headquarters of Egypt Healthcare Authority in Luxor governorate.
The Authority was represented on behalf of Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority, Assistant Minister of Health and Population and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, Dr. Ahmed El-Boraai, Director of the Shorter Health Care Branch, and Dr. Mohamed Ali Abdullah, Executive Director of the Company, was represented by the Egyptian-Jordanian therapeutic tourism company.
In its statement, the Authority stated that, under the Protocol, all medical and therapeutic services and various packages of services are provided at the highest quality scientific levels for all cases and patients of the company, whether from Arab or African States or the East Asian region, within the facilities of Egypt Healthcare Authority at all levels of treatment.
In accordance with Egypt Healthcare Authority price regulations, all surgical operations, as well as all medical, laboratory and diagnostic examinations, are fully carried out in accordance with the requirements of the medical condition.
Dr. Ahmed El-Boraai, Director of the Department of Health Care in Minors, stressed that the protocol aimed at maximizing the possibilities of health-care authority hospitals to provide outstanding medical care to arrivals in the Egyptian State in order to contribute to the multiplicity of the Agency own resources and facilities for the benefit of the beneficiaries of the Universal health insurance system and to strengthen the internal working environment. The Authority project branding of therapeutic tourism is a distinctive sign of the service promoted, which is the cornerstone for building an identity for therapeutic tourism in Egypt and abroad, thereby achieving the confidence of the recipients of the service, and strengthening the role of the Authority in reaching the highest global quality of the integrated and differentiated medical service for foreign arrivals under the slogan of In Egypt we take care of you.
Dr. Mohammed Abu Majid, General Supervisor of the Commission Activities and Visual Identity, Coordinator of the Protocol on Cooperation between the two sides, said that the protocol was in response to the desire of the Egyptian-Jordanian therapeutic tourism company to take advantage of the medical possibilities and treatment services provided by the health-care authority through its distinctive facilities and in accordance with the highest international practice. Mohamed Mahmoud, Director of the Marketing Department of the Shortest Branch, said that the Agency distinguished medical staff were one of the most important attractions for providing a high-quality medical service suitable for patients from various regions.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Ali Abdullah, the executive director of the company, confirmed that the idea of the protocol had come after the company had identified the project of the Health Care Agency for Medical Tourism, which had been introduced into Egypt and the services it provided to visitors, on the margins of the participation of Egypt Healthcare Authority in the exhibition and the first African Medical Conference <Africa Health Excon>, which reflected the distinctiveness and efficiency of the medical service provided by its facilities and the skills of its medical staff and personnel, which reflected positively the quality of the medical service provided to patients within its facilities.
The signing of the protocol by the company, Dr. Najm Mohamed Hisham, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian-Jordanian therapeutic tourism company, and by the branch of Egypt Healthcare Authority of the minors, Dr. Ahmed Hamad, Director of the Primary Care Department of the Branch, Professor Mahmoud Abdu Jad, Director of the Legal Department of the Branch.
