The Chairman of EHA inspects the ongoing development and construction work at the new Nuweiba Specialized Hospital in preparation for its inclusion and operation within the EHA system next April.

The head of Egypt Healthcare Authority visits Al-Mazina Family Medical Center in Nuweiba to ensure the provision of the best service and health care to beneficiaries and to obtain their opinions about the quality of medical services provided.

Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority: The new Nuweiba Specialized Hospital will provide many medical and therapeutic services to the people of Nuweiba and the Bedouin communities adjacent to it in South Sinai Governorate, and represents a qualitative leap in the quality of health services in the governorate.

Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority: More than 37 thousand medical services have been provided at Al-Mazina Family Medical Center for beneficiaries of Universal health insurance in South Sinai so far, and 8.2 thousand individual files and 2.4 thousand family files have been registered, in addition to providing 9.8 thousand services at the center as part of health initiatives. Presidential Council and dispensed more than 28,000 medication doses.

The Chairman of the Healthcare Authority stresses providing the best medical service to patients during his visit to Al-Muzainah Family Medical Center and confirms: Beneficiary satisfaction is the highest goal of the Healthcare Authority and the basis for achieving its vision and strategic objectives.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance and Hayah Kareema projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, today conducted a field visit to the new Nuweiba Specialized Hospital, which is scheduled to join and operate within the system of Egypt Healthcare Authority in South Sinai Governorate, next April.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky inspected the ongoing development and construction work at the new Nuweiba Specialized Hospital, noting that the hospital’s development and construction work has been completed by 81% so far, noting that the cost of construction and information work in the hospital has exceeded 500 million pounds. He also added that the hospital’s capacity is 50 million pounds. A residence bed, 3 intensive care units, 3 nurseries, 5 operating suites, and a dialysis department.

El-Sobky pointed out that the new Nuweiba Specialized Hospital will provide many medical and therapeutic services to the people of Nuweiba and the Bedouin communities adjacent to it in South Sinai Governorate, stressing that the hospital will represent a qualitative leap in the quality of health services in the governorate.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky continued his field visit today by inspecting the Al-Mazina Family Medical Center of Egypt Healthcare Authority in Nuweiba, South Sinai. During the visit, he was keen to talk with the medical and administrative staff about their opinions and innovative ideas about continuing to improve the health care system for the people of Sinai, as well as polling the opinions of the beneficiaries. About the medical services provided at the center and the Welfare Authority hospitals in the governorate.

It should be noted that the field visit of Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Head of Egypt Healthcare Authority, today, in South Sinai Governorate, began with a meeting with Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai, then he inspected the ongoing development and construction work at the new Nuweiba Specialized Hospital, followed by an inspection of the Family Medicine Center. Al-Muzina, affiliated with the Nuweiba Welfare Authority in the governorate.

During the visit, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky was accompanied by Dr. Enas Samir, Deputy Governor of South Sinai, in addition to a number of leaders of Egypt Healthcare Authority and directors of central and public departments at the main headquarters, namely, Major General Sherif Bilal, Assistant Executive Director for Engineering Affairs and Projects, and Dr. Ahmed Hammad, Advisor to the President of the Authority for Health Policies and Systems and Director General of the General Department of International Cooperation, Dr. Mohamed Nashaat, Director of the Secondary Care, Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Engineer Mohamed Al-Sisi, Director of Crisis and Disaster Management and General Supervisor of International Partnerships and Achieving the Authority’s Vision, and Dr. Asma Salman, Director of the Marketing and Business Development Department. He was also accompanied by Dr. Ayman Rakha, Director of the Authority’s branch in South Sinai, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Mallah, Deputy Director of the Branch.
