The Public Authority for Health Care announced the completion of the Authority’s examination tests for new students applying to technical care institutes for nursing “Al-Mabarrah Technical Nursing Institute, Technical Peace Care Institute for Nursing” with a five-year system, and affiliated with the authority in Port Said governorate for the academic year 2022/2021.

The Health Care Authority indicated that Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, a member of the Authority’s board of directors, the Nursing Syndicate, the general supervisor of nursing in the comprehensive health insurance system and a member of the Senate, headed a committee that examined the body’s examination of students and new students applying to the Technical Care Institutes of Nursing in Port Said. The committee also included Dr. Mostafa Shaaban. , Director of the Authority’s branch in Port Said, Dr. Hassan El-Esnawy, Director of Al-Salam Hospital in Port Said, Dr. Mohamed El-Kiki, Director of Al-Mabarrah Hospital, and both nursing and technical education officials in the authority and the branch in Port Said.

The authority confirmed that a new batch of preparatory certificate holders will be accepted in technical nursing care institutes according to the highest advanced groups after passing exams in accordance with the terms, rules and mechanisms for admission to technical nursing institutes for the academic year 2022/2021, noting that applicants are subject to a set of nursing exams after obtaining Preparatory certificate, the passing of which is a condition for admission to nursing institutes.

Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud explained that the admission tests for technical institutes of nursing include, first, passing the aptitude test, whether written or oral, "English language, Arabic language, ability to deal with the computer", followed by the commission's disclosure test and the rest of the abilities test "psychological test, strength of observation, Tact in speech, speed of response and reaction, communication skills, general information, general appearance, soundness of pronunciation, and other capacity tests", then a medical examination, which includes "a vision examination, an internal examination, a medical fitness examination for employment", after passing all the tests previous.

She added, that the academic year 2022/2021 is witnessing the acceptance of the first batch of male students in the technical institutes of nursing in Port Said Governorate, after a hiatus of more than 30 years, and the institutes during this period were limited to studying for female students only, pointing out that the total number of applicants for technical care institutes for nursing This year, there were 455 male and female students, and that 145 male and female students will be accepted for the academic year 2022/2021 after passing all the aforementioned tests and according to the highest totals, including (80) male and female students to study at the Technical Peace Care Institute for Nursing, and (65) at the Mabarrah Care Institute. Nursing technician.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Health Care, Assistant to the Minister of Health and Population and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, stressed the interest in the nursing system as one of the main pillars in the successful performance of services and health care for patients in the health facilities affiliated with the Authority in the governorates of implementing the comprehensive health insurance. The new, referring to the authority’s strategy that is based on several axes to improve nursing services and ensure the provision of world-class health care to patients, whether at the educational or professional level, including studying the latest educational curricula in technical nursing care institutes, in addition to using the training expertise of foreigners to transfer expertise to the nursing staff. facilities, as well as introducing a new nursing uniform in line with the authority’s distinct visual identity.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky continued: The Health Care Authority pays special attention to technical education, including the approval of the Authority’s Board of Directors in its periodic meeting, which approved on August 30, the establishment of the Model Care Institute for Nursing in Port Fouad District in Port Said Governorate, to increase educational opportunities and increase the number of future students. To learn nursing services and cover the needs of all health facilities of the authority in the governorate, stressing support for all means to provide distinguished medical education and training in line with the latest health systems, medical services and nursing care globally.

It is worth noting that the male and female students who are subject to the authority’s examination list for applicants to the Technical Care Institutes of Nursing in Port Said for the academic year 2021/2022 have previously passed the ability test “English, Arabic, computer” during the period from (16-19) last August, and it is required for applicants to obtain He must have a preparatory certificate with a minimum score of 269, and the applicant must be at least fourteen and a half years old at the beginning of the school year, and must be Egyptian, with good conduct and behavior, and from Port Said Governorate.
