Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, witnessed the signing of multiple cooperation protocols with leading global companies during Arab Health 2025, one of the world’s largest healthcare exhibitions and conferences, held in Dubai.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. El-Sobky emphasized that these strategic agreements are part of Egypt’s efforts to strengthen international partnerships in healthcare, integrate cutting-edge technologies, and enhance medical innovations within the Egyptian healthcare system. He stated that these partnerships will improve healthcare service quality, promote public-private sector integration, and accelerate digital transformation in healthcare.

Cooperation with Millensys to Develop the Electronic Archiving System

The Healthcare Authority signed a cooperation protocol with Millensys, a global leader in digital archiving and AI-powered medical diagnostics. This partnership aims to establish a unified electronic archiving system across Healthcare Authority facilities, enabling efficient access to medical records, improving data management, and ensuring seamless digital healthcare operations.

Additionally, AI-driven medical imaging solutions will be integrated to enhance diagnostic accuracy and accelerate medical services, optimizing hospital workflow efficiency while ensuring the highest levels of security and data privacy.

Agreement with Al-Huda Company to Localize Medical Supplies Manufacturing

Dr. El-Sobky also witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol with Al-Huda Company, aimed at localizing the production of medical supplies and laboratory consumables. This partnership is designed to boost local manufacturing in line with international standards, ensuring the sustainable supply of high-quality medical products and enhancing Egypt’s healthcare self-sufficiency.

Partnership with Meridian to Integrate AI in Diagnostic Imaging

Furthermore, the Healthcare Authority signed an agreement with Meridian, a specialist in AI-driven medical imaging and digital diagnostics. This cooperation focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to improve diagnostic imaging accuracy and expedite clinical decision-making.

By integrating AI-powered analysis, this initiative will enhance physicians’ diagnostic capabilities, facilitating precise treatment planning based on data-driven insights.
