 the Egypt Health Care Authority welcomed a delegation of international and Egyptian medical experts to visit several health facilities under its management in the Ismailia Governorate. This visit coincides with the first international conference on advanced care for head and spinal injuries held today in collaboration between the Authority, the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons, and Ever Pharma, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, head of the Egypt Health Care Authority and the general supervisor of the universal health insurance and Hayat Kareema projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, at the Ismailia Medical Complex affiliated with the Authority in Ismailia Governorate.

The delegation included Prof. Dr. Hazem Ahmed Mustafa, Professor of Neurosurgery at Ain Shams University's Faculty of Medicine and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons; Prof. Dr. Axel Kolumetz, Head of Medical Affairs at Ever Pharma in Austria; Prof. Dr. Christian Matiolla, Professor and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria; Prof. Dr. Katrin Raue, Professor and Head of the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation and Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Godesho Hospital, Bonn, Germany; and Prof. Dr. Harald Widlhelm, Professor of Trauma Surgery at the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery in Vienna, Austria.

Also, Prof. Dr. Amir El-Barbary, Professor of Neurosurgery at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria; Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Deebky, Professor of Pediatric Surgery at Ain Shams University and Vice President of the Egyptian Society for Pediatric Surgery; Prof. Dr. Magdy El-Sheikh, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery at Tanta University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asem Abdel Latif, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery at Ain Shams University; Dr. Mohamed Khamees, Assistant Lecturer in Neurosurgery at Ain Shams University; and Dr. Saif El-Sweisy, Resident Physician in Neurosurgery at Ain Shams University were part of the delegation.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, head of the Egypt Health Care Authority, expressed his pleasure with this visit, which reflects international confidence in the level of health services provided by the Authority, and Dr. El-Sobky emphasized the importance of these visits in supporting the development of the health sector in Egypt through the exchange of experiences and knowledge with international and Egyptian experts.

El-Sobky stated, "We are proud to welcome this delegation of medical experts to our health facilities in Ismailia. This visit reflects the progress we have made in improving the quality of health care. We are committed to continuing to develop the health care sector through international and national cooperation and the exchange of experiences, to ensure the provision of the best health services for citizens. El-Sobky pointed out that this visit reflects the Egypt Health Care Authority's commitment to enhancing international cooperation and adopting the best global practices in health care, aiming to provide distinguished health services to citizens across Egypt.

During the visit, the delegation toured several health facilities, including the Ismailia Medical Complex, where they inspected various departments of the complex, including reception, emergency services, outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and intensive care units. They reviewed the latest medical and non-medical equipment and technologies used in providing health care. The experts praised the advanced level of facilities and services provided by the Egypt Health Care Authority, affirming their readiness to support the ongoing efforts to achieve further progress in this vital sector.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hazem Mustafa, Professor of Neurosurgery at Ain Shams University's Faculty of Medicine and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons and conference president, said, "We are impressed with the level of development and medical equipment we witnessed in the health facilities of the Egypt Health Care Authority in Ismailia. The efforts made to provide high-quality health care are clear and inspiring.
