The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority met with the Governor of Port Said, congratulated him on his new position and discussed several important files to continue developing healthcare services in the governorate.

Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority: "In the coming period, we target a joint plan between the Authority and the governorate to bring the Salam Egypt unit into service to enhance healthcare in the East Port Said area and support national and strategic projects in the governorate."

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, met with Major General Mohab Habashi, Governor of Port Said, at the governorate's general office.

This meeting is part of the ongoing field tours by the Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority to ensure the services of the comprehensive health insurance system in the implementing governorates.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky welcomed Major General Mohab Habashi, congratulated him on his new position, and wished him success in leading the governorate towards achieving distinguished healthcare for citizens.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky explained that the next phase would see a joint plan between the Authority and the governorate to bring the Salam Egypt unit into service, aiming to enhance healthcare in the East Port Said area and support national and strategic projects in the governorate.

Dr. El-Sobky added that an additional building for outpatient clinics would be added to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex of the Healthcare Authority in Port Said, and an additional building for expansion would be opened in the medical complex during the openings in October next.
