Building Sustainable Healthcare Systems Capable of Resilient to Climate Change for the Future
Dr. Ahmed Elsobky, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance and "haya karima" at the Ministry of Health and Population, participates as a keynote speaker in the session "Building Sustainable Healthcare Systems Capable of Resilient to Climate Change for the Future," organised by AstraZeneca within Events of the Global Conference on Population, Health, and Development.
During his speech at the session, Dr. Ahmed Elsobky highlighted the Healthcare Authority's many achievements in the field of green transformation of healthcare, as well as several important awards that reflect its efforts in promoting green transformation of healthcare and sustainability.
Dr. Elsobky emphasised the importance of continuing to implement initiatives that promote green transformation in health care as a fundamental pillar to ensuring everyone's access to safe health care and the long-term viability of universal health coverage.
It should be noted that the conference is being held under the patronage and honour of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and under the slogan "Healthy Population for Sustainable Development," from September 5 to September 8, in the New Administrative Capital.
