Campaign activities to secure your son in Port Said, Luxor and Ismailia governorates continued until the end of September 2023

Egypt Healthcare Authority reveals the details of the medical examinations of school students as part of the campaign to secure your son for the school year 2024/2023 in the governorates of the Universal Health Insurance.

Head of Egypt Healthcare Authority: your son is insured for medical examinations of 252,000 male and female students. Confirms: School students are screened free of charge for the beneficiaries of universal health insurance

The Public Egypt Healthcare Authority has announced the medical examinations of school students as part of the "Acquit Your Son" campaign launched by the Authority to check the health of school students at Kg1 kindergartens, first-grade applicants, first-grade and first-secondary students, in the three governorates of the Universal Health Insurance (CHI) Port-said, Short and Ismailia. 

The Board statement indicated that medical examinations for students included (general detection by the family doctor, full pathology assessment for students, visual, visual, hearing, dental and Universal analysis of the whole blood type and RH), as well as a number of other medical examinations that helped to detect early, particularly chronic, diseases in order to ascertain the students mental, physical and intellectual health and standard.

The Board noted the importance of Universal medical examinations of students to ensure their health, physical integrity and mental and intellectual development, which are in line with the efforts of the Egyptian State and the presidential health initiatives to address the public health of citizens, especially children and young people, because they represent the country future. This contributes to the early detection and immediate treatment of diseases through the provision of medical services, treatment and health care.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance and Decent Life Projects of the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that in the academic year 2024/2023, your son's medical screening campaign aimed at more than 252,000 students of different age groups and stages of education in the three governorates of Port-said, Shorter and Ismailia.

In Port Said governorate, a campaign to ensure that your son receives medical examinations is aimed at some 46,000 students, while in Luxor governorate, more than 88,000 students are targeted at different levels of schooling. In Ismailia province, the above-mentioned medical examinations are aimed at more than 118,000 students from different age groups.

The head of Egypt Healthcare Authority, which is integrated and consistent with the presidential initiatives launched in the field of health, has included initiatives (elimination of HIV among school students, early detection of obesity, anemia and dysentery, detection of hearing impairment in newborn children). The Public Egypt Healthcare Authority, in parallel with those presidential initiatives, has sought to provide health education to citizens in general, and to children in particular, on the need for healthy lifestyles, including healthy nutrition for children, to protect children from potential diseases.

In addition, special data and the results of medical examinations of these students are recorded in the electronic medical records of these students in accordance with the method used by the Universal Health Insurance System for periodic follow-up and constant check-up of their health status through 136 family medical centers and units providing Universal health insurance services in the three governorates.
