The Authority’s Board of Directors agrees to increase the financial treatment of branch managers and hospital directors affiliated with the Authority in the governorates as a first stage to amend the wage regulations for employees of the Authority, its branches, and health facilities and link it to productivity and achieving medical and financial goals.
The Authority’s Board of Directors discusses the results of the Supreme Committee to maximize the Authority’s resources and revenues and approves work on several projects, the most important of which is training health service providers who are not employees of the Authority, medical insurance for specific groups in the Arab countries and the world, strategic cooperation with sister countries to transfer expertise and share it globally, opening registration for suppliers and exploiting unoccupied places as places. The Board of Directors of the Public Health Care Authority, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, affirmed the continued implementation of presidential mandates to provide the best health services to citizens, the continuation of providing presidential initiative services, and the launch of an additional package of initiatives to enhance Citizen health in 6 governorates: Implementing the comprehensive health insurance system “Port Said, Luxor, Ismailia, South Sinai, Aswan, Suez” during the year 2024.
This came during the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Public Health Care Authority No. (69), which is held monthly under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Chairman of the Health Care Authority, to discuss the most important topics related to proposals for developing work and policies and setting future plans to ensure continuity of control and regulation of the provision of health care services to insurance beneficiaries. The meeting reviewed the Authority’s semi-annual performance report on health services and the financial performance report for the first half of the fiscal year 2023/2024, where the Authority’s Board of Directors agreed to adopt the Authority’s technical and financial performance report for that period, appreciating the efforts of the Authority’s executive body and work brigade for the success of achieving Providing more than 34.3 million medical services with world-class quality.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki pointed out that more than 14.7 million medical services have been provided through the authority’s family medicine centers and units to beneficiaries of comprehensive health insurance so far, in addition to performing 500,000 various operations and surgeries, including 110 advanced operations with a special skill or character using the latest technologies. Pointing out that the authority owns 311 health facilities in the aforementioned governorates, including 278 family medicine centers and units and 33 hospitals, noting the success of accrediting 174 of them so far, as well as the completion of 100% mechanization and digital transformation of services in family medicine centers and units and 80% in hospitals.
