Egypt Healthcare Authority participates in the Sharm el-Sheikh International Medical Insurance Hospital during the annual meetings of the African Development Bank Group in Sharm el-Sheikh

Egypt Healthcare Authority: Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital is the first Egyptian green hospital with a certificate of international recognition from the Global Green Hospital Network (GGHH)

Egypt Healthcare Authority of the Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital, South Sinai Province, participates in the medical insurance of the annual meetings of the African Development Bank Group, held in Sharm el-Sheikh, which continue to be effective until 26 May 2023.

The Commission statement made clear that, under the medical insurance plan, the level of preparedness had been raised in all parts of Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital, particularly the round-the-clock reception and emergency, and that all medicines, medical supplies, solutions and blood bags had been made available to all factions and their blood products in order to deal with any emergency situations, noting the skill and efficiency of the hospital medical staff.

The statement referred to the capacity of the Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital, which has 110 beds, the number of operating rooms to 6 and the number of outpatient clinics to 22 clinics operating over a 12-hour period, where outstanding medical services are provided through a group of skilled doctors and nursing staff to serve arrivals from across the African continent.

He continued: The Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital, which has been certified in accordance with national standards recognized by ESCWA, includes a dialysis unit, a cardiovascular unit, radiology equipment, a pharmacy, a laboratory and a physiotherapy center, along with a range of other sections, including the heart, blood vessels, emergencies, children who are improbable, binoculars, nose and ear, plastic surgery, tracts, brain and nerves, general surgery, bones, etc. 

For his part, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority , Assistant Minister of Health and Population and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, emphasized the quality and excellence of the outstanding high-quality medical service for arrivals from across the African continent, as the Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital was the first Egyptian green hospital to receive an international recognition certificate from the Global Green Hospital Network (GHHH), which was reflected in the level of medical service provided to foreign arrivals during the Climate Summit (COP27), hosted by Egypt last November.

The southern Sinai province in general and the city of Sharm el-Sheikh in particular are among the most important global tourist destinations, with many of the components of therapeutic tourism, as well as the vast medical and non-medical infrastructure and equipment of its health facilities. This is one of the most important areas of work of the health-care authority in the governorate for its transformation into a regional and global center for therapeutic tourism, under the umbrella of its therapeutic tourism project < In Egypt we take care of you>.

The annual meetings of the African Development Bank Group 2023, launched under the auspices of President Abd-elfattah El-Sisi at the Sharm el-Sheikh International Conference Centre, last until 26 May 2023, with the participation of some 4,000 people, including leaders and leaders of countries. Egypt, for the third time, stressed Egypt great interest in promoting international and regional endeavors in support of development efforts throughout the African continent under the slogan of mobilizing private sector financing for climate and green growth in Africa.
