EHA: 66,000+ Training Programs to Boost Skills

Healthcare Authority Chairman: Over 66,000 Comprehensive Training Programs Conducted to Enhance Skills of Healthcare Professionals Across Universal Health Insurance Governorates

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, announced that the Authority has implemented more than 66,000 comprehensive training programs. These initiatives aim to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals across various specialties, fostering professional, scientific, and technological development.

Dr. El-Sobky emphasized that investing in human capital is a top priority for the Authority, aligning with its mission to deliver world-class healthcare services and drive innovation within the healthcare sector. These programs reflect the Authority’s commitment to the development of its workforce, which serves as the cornerstone of achieving Egypt’s vision for an advanced Universal Health Insurance system.

The training programs targeted employees across central and general administrations, as well as staff at the Authority’s facilities in the six governorates implementing the Universal Health Insurance system: Port Said, Ismailia, Luxor, South Sinai, Suez, and Aswan. These initiatives covered a wide range of fields, including advanced medical specialties, cutting-edge research areas, and the latest technological systems for healthcare delivery.

Dr. El-Sobky noted that the programs were meticulously designed to address all practical, administrative, and technological aspects of healthcare operations. The objective is to prepare a new generation of healthcare leaders capable of managing and operating the Healthcare Authority’s system with efficiency and excellence, adhering to the highest international standards.

The Authority collaborated with major institutions, research organizations, and local and international technology companies to execute these programs.
