Healthcare Authority Announces Discharge of 14 Patients from Al-Galala Accident After Full Recovery, with 8 Surgeries Performed

Healthcare Authority Confirms Continued Provision of Medical Care for Remaining 22 Patients Undergoing Treatment and Close Monitoring at Suez Medical Complex


In line with Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, 's directive to provide comprehensive medical care to those injured in the Al-Galala accident, the Suez Medical Complex, under the Healthcare Authority, received 36 cases following a bus overturn on the Al-Galala-Ain Sokhna road. Medical teams at the complex immediately began treating the injured.

The Healthcare Authority announced that 14 individuals have been discharged after making a full recovery. It was noted that 8 of the injured underwent various surgical procedures, including orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery, general surgery, vascular surgery, and cosmetic surgeries, all conducted according to the highest medical standards.

The Authority mentioned that 22 individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Suez Medical Complex, with injuries ranging from fractures, abrasions, and bruises to cases requiring minor cosmetic procedures. The Authority emphasized the continued provision of necessary medical care and real-time monitoring until all patients have fully recovered.

Under the guidance of Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, Dr. Hani Rashid, Vice Chairman of the Healthcare Authority, visited the injured to check on their health status at the Suez Medical Complex. He confirmed that the Authority remains committed to providing full support and medical care to the injured, expressing sincere condolences to the families of Galala University students who lost their lives in this tragic accident, and wishing a speedy recovery for the remaining patients undergoing treatment.
