The Healthcare Authority has announced the launch of its first nationwide campaign to assess the nutritional status of children in governorates covered by the Universal Health Insurance system in 2025, under the slogan "Their Health, Their Future." The campaign aims to early detect nutritional disorders, promote health awareness among children and their families, and support preventive care efforts to improve quality of life. This initiative aligns with the Authority’s strategy to prevent diseases and build a healthier future generation.
Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, stated that the campaign is being implemented in partnership with the Suez Canal Bank and will initially be launched in Ismailia at the beginning of 2025. It will target 5,000 students across all educational stages—from kindergarten to middle school—through mobile clinics equipped with the latest medical technologies to ensure an accurate assessment of children's nutritional health and early detection of any issues.
