EHA launches the first international conference for advanced head and spine injury care in cooperation with the Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons and Ever Pharma in Ismailia

Today, the Egypt Health Care Authority launched the first international conference on advanced care for head and spinal injuries, held in collaboration with the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons and Ever Pharma, at the Ismailia Medical Complex under the auspices of the Egypt Health Care Authority in Ismailia Governorate.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, the head of the Egypt Health Care Authority and the general supervisor of the universal health insurance and decent life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the Authority is proud to sponsor this conference, noting that the first international conference on advanced care for head and spinal injuries aims to provide neurosurgeons, emergency and accident doctors, intensive care and rehabilitation doctors with the latest developments and best global medical practices.

Dr. El-Sobky pointed out that the conference aligns with the vision and strategic objectives of the Authority, which places significant emphasis on training and continuous medical education as a fundamental pillar to enhance the capabilities of the Egyptian health system. Professor Dr. Hazem Ahmed Mustafa, Professor of Neurosurgery at Ain Shams University's Faculty of Medicine and the Secretary-General of the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgeons and the conference president, emphasized during his speech at the conference the importance of this first international conference, which gathers a selection of local and international experts in the field of neurosurgery. This includes various specializations related to head injuries, forming a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes accident surgeries, maxillofacial surgeries, pediatric surgeries, intensive care, and post-injury psychological and physical rehabilitation.
