During the activities of the Fifth Annual Forum of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, which launched in the New Administrative Capital under the theme "Towards Global Excellence in Healthcare Services":

The Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, the CEO of the International Hospital Federation, and the General Manager of Roche witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements to enhance healthcare services with Pfizer and Ever Pharma.

Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority: Collaboration with Pfizer aims to improve bacterial and microbiological diagnostics and support strategies for the optimal use of antibiotics.

Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority: Cooperation with Ever Pharma focuses on raising awareness and improving early treatment of acute and chronic neurological disorders, specifically ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, and Alzheimer's disease, with the goal of improving treatment outcomes and reducing disability levels.

As part of the Fifth Annual Forum of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, which launched in the New Administrative Capital under the theme "Towards Global Excellence in Healthcare Services," Dr. Ahmed El-Sebki, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, and Dr. Ronald Lavatar, CEO of the International Hospital Federation, witnessed the signing of strategic cooperation agreements with Pfizer and Ever Pharma to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens and ensure improved treatment outcomes.

Dr. Amir El-Tallawany, Executive Director of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, signed the agreements on behalf of the Authority, while Dr. Amr Seif, Regional Director of Pfizer for Egypt, Sudan, the Levant, and Iraq, signed on behalf of Pfizer. Dr. Osama Asaad Yousef, Regional Director for Ever Pharma in Egypt and Africa, signed on behalf of Ever Pharma.

Dr. El-Sebki, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, explained that the letter of intent with Pfizer covers several areas, including improving bacterial and microbiological diagnostics using advanced technologies that help rapidly and accurately identify bacterial infections. He also highlighted enhancing strategies for the optimal use of antibiotics, which will positively impact treatment outcomes and reduce antibiotic resistance risks.

He further stated that the letter of intent with Ever Pharma focuses on raising awareness about the importance of early treatment for acute and chronic neurological disorders, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, head injuries, and Alzheimer’s disease. He emphasized that the aim of this collaboration is to improve treatment outcomes, reduce associated disabilities, and ease the financial burden on hospitals.

Dr. El-Sebki also announced the publication of unified protocols to enhance clinical diagnostics and the optimal use of antibiotics in collaboration with Pfizer, as well as therapeutic protocols aimed at enhancing clinical diagnostics for dyslipidemia in collaboration with Viatris and Accsight, which will help in the development of clinical diagnostics and the implementation of global treatment standards.

Dr. El-Sebki confirmed that these agreements reflect the Authority's commitment to strengthening cooperation with international partners to achieve a qualitative leap in healthcare services, commending the partnership with the private sector as it complements the role of the public sector. He emphasized that such partnerships are essential for developing healthcare services, supporting innovation, and medical technology, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive healthcare services according to the highest global quality standards, and enhancing the healthcare system's capacity to meet citizens' healthcare needs.

On their part, the Regional Manager of Ever Pharma for Egypt and Africa expressed appreciation for the partnership with the Egypt Healthcare Authority, stating: "We believe in the importance of collaborating with the Egypt Healthcare Authority in executing awareness campaigns and providing advanced therapeutic solutions that align with the latest global guidelines, contributing to improving patients' lives and achieving the best therapeutic outcomes."
