The Chairman of EHA met with the Dean of the Bar Association and the President of the Arab Lawyers Union to discuss potential cooperation

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority met with the Dean of the Bar Association and the President of the Arab Lawyers Union to discuss potential cooperation.

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority: Discussing cooperation with the Dean of the Bar Association to provide health services to members enrolled in the Bar Association's medical treatment project in the Authority's health facilities in the provinces where the universal health insurance system is applied.

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority: Discussing cooperation with the Dean of the Bar Association to train the legal members of the Authority and its branches and health facilities at the Bar Association on the legal and procedural standards related to healthcare.

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority: We have health facilities with advanced infrastructural and informational systems, internationally accredited, enabling us to expand in providing high-quality services and are known for our flexibility in dealing with any health system.

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority: Aiming to expand the Authority's services to include a larger number of citizens to achieve the goals of universal health insurance and comprehensive health coverage for all Egyptians.

The Dean of the Bar Association: We are pleased to cooperate with the Egypt Health Care Authority to ensure the best therapeutic services are provided to the members of the Bar.


Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority and the supervisor of the universal health insurance project, met with Mr. Abdel Halim Allam, Dean of the Bar Association and President of the Arab Lawyers Union, to discuss joint cooperation in the fields of providing healthcare services and legal training, at the Authority's main headquarters in Cairo.

During the meeting, Dr. El-Sobky emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Bar Association to provide comprehensive and integrated medical services to the members enrolled in the Bar Association's treatment project in the Authority's health facilities in the provinces where the universal health insurance system is applied.

He noted that the Authority possesses health facilities with advanced infrastructural and informational systems, internationally accredited, which qualifies them to expand in providing high-quality health services according to the latest global standards, and grants them complete flexibility in dealing with various health systems.

Dr. El-Sobky added that the Authority aims to expand its services to include the largest number of citizens, in line with the goals of universal health insurance and comprehensive health coverage for all Egyptians.

He explained that cooperation with the Bar Association was discussed to train the legal members of the Authority, its branches, and its health facilities on legal and procedural standards related to healthcare.

He emphasized that this cooperation would significantly enhance the legal work within the Authority and achieve a higher level of compliance with legal standards in providing health services.

Mr. Abdel Halim Allam expressed his pleasure with this fruitful cooperation, noting that the Bar Association looks forward to working with the Egypt Health Care Authority to ensure the best therapeutic services for its members.

He confirmed that this cooperation would enhance the provision of necessary healthcare for the members of the Bar Association, contributing to improving their health and professional life quality, and enhancing their benefits from the services available within the universal health insurance system.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue coordination and cooperation between the two sides, and to define executive mechanisms to enhance this cooperation in a way that benefits both parties and serves the citizens in general and the members of the Bar Association in particular.

Attending the meeting from the Bar Association were Mr. Mohamed Fezaa and Mr. Ibrahim Fouad, members of the Bar Council.

From the Egypt Health Care Authority, the attendees included Dr. Hany Rashed, Vice Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ahmed Hamad, the Chairman's Advisor for Health Policies and Systems and Director General of the Technical Office, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Director General of the Legal Administration, Dr. Asmaa Salman, Director General of Marketing and Business Development, and Engineer Mohamed El-Sisi, Director of Strategic Planning and Policies and the General Supervisor for Achieving the Authority’s Vision.
