Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, met at a roundtable with leaders, senior officials, and entrepreneurs from national institutions, associations, companies, hospitals, and leading medical centers in healthcare from the French and Japanese sides during his participation in the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference in Dubai, Arab Health 2024.
The meeting reviewed the major achievements and developments witnessed by the healthcare sector in Egypt, the Egyptian experience in health reform and comprehensive health coverage, the implementation of the Healthcare Authority system, the scale of accomplishment, and the role played by the Authority in developing healthcare models, introducing medical and therapeutic services, clinical governance, training and qualification of human resources, digitization and digital transformation of services, enhancing medical tourism, and much more to ensure the best service and integration of healthcare for citizens and all stakeholders.

The Arab Health 2024 exhibition and conference takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center, United Arab Emirates, from January 29 to February 1, 2024, under the slogan "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future in Healthcare," with the attendance of more than 50,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibitors from major entities working in the healthcare field.
