During his participation in the "Arab Health 2024" exhibition and conference in Dubai, the head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority engaged in roundtable discussions about cooperation with healthcare entrepreneurs from both the French and Japanese sides.

The head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority stated, "We are discussing with entrepreneurs from both the French and Japanese sides cooperation and medical exchange in advanced healthcare fields, digital, virtual, and innovative healthcare solutions, enhancing medical tourism, and investment in Egypt."

The head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and sharing successful healthcare practices internationally, regionally, and in the Arab world to ensure the highest level of healthcare services provided to citizens and all stakeholders, in accordance with international standards.

The head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority expressed optimism about the future of the healthcare sector in Egypt, noting that the comprehensive health insurance system has opened endless opportunities for attracting investors and entrepreneurs to the health investment in Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, met at a roundtable with leaders, senior officials, and entrepreneurs from national institutions, associations, companies, hospitals, and leading medical centers in healthcare from the French and Japanese sides during his participation in the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference in Dubai, Arab Health 2024.

The meeting reviewed the major achievements and developments witnessed by the healthcare sector in Egypt, the Egyptian experience in health reform and comprehensive health coverage, the implementation of the Healthcare Authority system, the scale of accomplishment, and the role played by the Authority in developing healthcare models, introducing medical and therapeutic services, clinical governance, training and qualification of human resources, digitization and digital transformation of services, enhancing medical tourism, and much more to ensure the best service and integration of healthcare for citizens and all stakeholders.

The meeting also highlighted how Egypt has focused on the healthcare sector as one of the main components to achieve its developmental goals in other sectors, pointing to the bright future awaiting this sector, which is witnessing significant developments and holds promising investment opportunities in healthcare in Egypt and the Middle East.

The Arab Health 2024 exhibition and conference takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center, United Arab Emirates, from January 29 to February 1, 2024, under the slogan "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future in Healthcare," with the attendance of more than 50,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibitors from major entities working in the healthcare field. The event includes a series of panel discussions and interactive workshops with leading health authorities, groups, and medical companies regionally and globally.
