Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, participated in a high-level panel discussion titled "Future Visions Shaping the Future of Healthcare," during the annual meeting of the Arab Hospitals Federation "MedHealth - Abu Dhabi 2024."
The session was attended by Major General Dr. Bahaa El-Din Zidan, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply, and Technology Management; Dr. Ahmed Taher, Chairman of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Regulation; and Dr. Amin Al-Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and Licensing at the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.

In the same context, Dr. Amir El-Telwany, Executive Director of the Egypt Health Care Authority, participated in the Executive Directors' session titled "The Path to Achieving Patient Safety Across Governmental, Private, and Public Sectors," where he discussed ways to improve patient safety and the importance of collaboration among all sectors to achieve this goal.
The annual meeting of the Arab Hospitals Federation, "MedHealth - Abu Dhabi 2024," is being held in October 2024, celebrating the federation's silver jubilee, marking 25 years since its establishment.
The meeting brings together key influential leaders in healthcare, policies, and global health organizations. The event is attended by Ministers of Health, heads of health authorities, regional directors of international organizations, prominent healthcare executives, innovation leaders in healthcare, and several senior leaders, officials, and distinguished experts in the healthcare sector from Arab countries and around the world.
