The Health Care Authority launches awareness campaigns on preventive measures to reduce exposure to gastroenteritis in schools and health facilities in Upper Egypt.

The Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority has announced the implementation of over 500 educational seminars in collaboration with teams focused on beneficiary satisfaction, primary care, public awareness, and health initiatives. These seminars aim to reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal infections.

The Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority reported that over 24,000 individuals have benefited from the preventive measure awareness campaigns conducted in schools and healthcare facilities throughout Upper Egypt.

The Chairman emphasized that the awareness campaigns in Upper Egypt aim to elevate health awareness and enhance the prevention of gastrointestinal infections among students and healthcare facility visitors.

The Chairman also highlighted that these awareness campaigns are crucial pillars of comprehensive healthcare. He affirmed the importance of community collaboration to ensure their sustainability and their positive impact on citizens' health.


The Egypt Healthcare Authority has launched intensive awareness campaigns to educate about preventive measures to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal infections in schools and health facilities across the provinces of Upper Egypt. These campaigns reflect the Authority’s commitment to improving public health and raising health awareness among school students and health facility visitors.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, confirmed that the campaigns involve conducting more than 500 educational seminars in cooperation with beneficiary satisfaction teams, primary care, awareness, and health initiatives. These seminars are designed to inform citizens about the necessary preventive measures to decrease the likelihood of gastrointestinal infections, targeting students and visitors of health facilities in the provinces of Upper Egypt.

Dr. El-Sobky noted that the campaigns have successfully reached over 24,000 beneficiaries, including school students and citizens in health facilities across Upper Egypt. He added that these initiatives are part of the Authority’s comprehensive plan to enhance health awareness and disease prevention within local communities.

Dr. El-Sobky stated that the main goal of these campaigns is to raise health awareness and promote prevention of gastrointestinal diseases among students and citizens in Upper Egypt. He reiterated that the Authority will continue to conduct these educational campaigns regularly to ensure optimal health outcomes.
