During his participation in the "Arab Health 2024" exhibition and conference in Dubai, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, the head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and the General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, inspected the Egyptian pavilion, which featured a number of Egyptian companies related to the healthcare sector. The event took place at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates from January 29 to February 1, 2024.
Dr. El-Sobky affirmed, during his inspection of the Egyptian pavilion at Arab Health, the Healthcare Authority's support for the medical industries, including drugs, devices, and medical supplies made in Egypt, for their proven efficiency, world-class quality, safety, and security for the health of the Egyptian patient.
El-Sobky pointed out that the localization of medical industries is a strategic goal for the political leadership in Egypt to support the healthcare sector, meet the needs of the Egyptian citizen, and offer greater opportunities to support the state's investment efforts. Additionally, it aims to maximize the benefit from the expertise of Egyptian scientists around the world to support development efforts in Egypt in the field of healthcare.
El-Sobky continued, stating that Egyptian companies have gained the trust of regional and international markets due to their expertise, capabilities, technologies, and innovative technological solutions. These strengths have helped develop services and products that win customer trust, thereby securing a significant position for these companies and enhancing their global leadership.
It is worth noting that the Arab Health 2024 exhibition and conference is held this year under the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future in Healthcare." The event saw the attendance of more than 50,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibitors from leading entities in the healthcare field. It included a series of panel discussions and interactive workshops with leading health authorities, groups, and medical companies from the Arab world and internationally, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in healthcare.
