Healthcare Authority's Leadership Assembles for Strategic Planning Following 2025 Executive Appointments
In his first executive council meeting following the 2025 leadership appointments, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, commended newly appointed leaders, expressed gratitude to those reaffirmed in their roles, and acknowledged the contributions of former executives. He emphasized the importance of building upon past achievements to advance healthcare services.
Dr. El-Sobky called for continuous performance evaluation and the development of plans aimed at improving operational efficiency and innovation in healthcare management. These initiatives align with the Authority's objectives to achieve top-quality care and adopt forward-thinking strategies that anticipate future challenges.

The meeting was attended by top officials, including Dr. Hani Rashid, Deputy Chairman, Dr. Amir El-Telwany, Executive Director, and several advisors and directors overseeing strategic projects, financial management, institutional support, and clinical governance. Regional and administrative representatives participated both in-person and via virtual platforms.
