Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, announced the commencement of the trial operation of the Emergency and Intensive Care Building at Luxor International Medical Complex, a state-of-the-art medical facility under EHA in Luxor, as part of final preparations for its official launch.

The Emergency and Intensive Care Building at Luxor International Medical Complex is a fully integrated medical facility designed to provide immediate and specialized care for critical and emergency cases. The building, constructed with an investment of nearly EGP 500 million, incorporates advanced medical technologies across various departments, including:

Intensive Care Units (ICU)
Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU)

Dr. El-Sobky noted that the Emergency Department is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology to handle critical cases 24/7. It features:

Dedicated observation rooms for pediatric, male, and female patients

15 twin-bed rooms with a total of 30 beds
