expanded meeting with the leaders and directors of the authority’s branches to follow up on the medical insurance plan and preparations for Eid al-Fitr

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority convened an extensive meeting with the leadership and branch managers of the Authority to monitor the medical insurance plan and preparations for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations across the Universal Health Insurance governorates.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority emphasized elevating the highest level of readiness and hospital preparedness in the governorates, announcing that 311 healthcare facilities would provide their services throughout the Eid period across 6 governorates.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority reviewed the availability of medical and preventive supplies, medications, vaccines, serums, blood types, and derivatives in the health facilities, ensuring the strategic stock is secure and intensifying the presence of medical teams, especially in emergency departments and critical care.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority confirmed the readiness of rapid medical deployment teams in the governorates to provide support to any of the province's hospitals or neighboring governorates when necessary for medical insurance, emergency support, and rapid intervention during crises.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority stressed the activation of the Authority's central and branch crisis management rooms to ensure the optimal execution of the medical insurance plan and coordination with the Ministry of Health's crisis management room and the Egyptian Ambulance Authority.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority reassured the quality of the automatic reporting system and its integration with health circuits and vital facilities under the umbrella of the unified national network to ensure rapid response in saving emergency cases and providing good medical insurance for the Eid celebrations.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority announced the extension of services of the 'Ramadan with Health for Every Family' initiative, which includes free home medical follow-up for people with chronic diseases, delivering chronic medications to patients at their homes, and offering remote medical consultations throughout the Eid days.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority emphasized ongoing monitoring and field visits to the healthcare facilities and the intensification of beneficiary satisfaction teams to provide any necessary assistance.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance and "Hayat Karema" projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, held a broad meeting with the Authority's leaders and branch managers via video conference to discuss the medical insurance plan and preparations for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations in the Universal Health Insurance governorates.

Dr. El-Sobky was briefed on the medical insurance plan for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations from April 9 to 14, and the ongoing preparations to ensure the best healthcare services for citizens in the first phase governorates of the Universal Health Insurance system implementation: Port Said, Luxor, Ismailia, South Sinai, Aswan, and Suez.

During the meeting, Dr. El-Sobky highlighted the importance of ensuring the highest level of readiness and hospital preparedness in the covered governorates, noting that 311 healthcare facilities affiliated with the Authority will provide services throughout the Eid period in the six governorates.

Dr. El-Sobky also reviewed the availability of medical and preventive supplies, medications, vaccines, serums, blood types, and derivatives in the healthcare facilities, ensuring the strategic stock is secured and emphasizing the intensified presence of medical teams, especially in emergency departments and critical care units.

Furthermore, Dr. El-Sobky assured the readiness of rapid medical deployment teams in the governorates to provide necessary support to any hospital within the province or adjacent governorates when needed for medical insurance, emergency support, and rapid intervention during any crises.

He stressed the need for the Authority's central and branch crisis management rooms to operate efficiently to ensure the best implementation of the medical insurance plan and coordination with the Ministry of Health's crisis management room and the Egyptian Ambulance Authority.

Dr. El-Sobky confirmed the effectiveness of the automatic reporting system and its integration with health circuits and vital facilities under the unified national network to ensure a rapid response in saving emergency cases and providing good medical insurance during the Eid celebrations.

Additionally, Dr. El-Sobky announced the continuation of the 'Ramadan with Health for Every Family' initiative's services, providing free home medical follow-up for individuals with chronic diseases, delivering chronic medications to patients at their homes, and offering remote medical consultations throughout the Eid days.

He emphasized the importance of regular monitoring and field visits to healthcare facilities and increasing the presence of beneficiary satisfaction teams to provide any necessary assistance.

Dr. El-Sobky expressed his confidence in the Authority's ability to effectively and coordinately implement the medical insurance plan and called on all citizens to cooperate and adhere to precautionary measures and the Authority's instructions to ensure everyone's safety during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
