The Head of the EHA met with the Regional Director of Fujifilm for the Middle East and Africa

The Head of the Health Care Authority met with the Regional Director of Fujifilm for the Middle East and Africa and the Regional Director of the company in Egypt to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in health care.

The Head of the Health Care Authority discussed cooperation with Fujifilm to implement the latest technologies in the field of remote diagnostics (Teleradiology) and to activate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the operation of virtual hospitals.

The Head of the Health Care Authority discussed cooperation with Fujifilm to exchange experiences and experiments in implementing comprehensive periodic medical examination (Screening) programs and developing them to be in line with the latest scientific and technological updates.

The Head of the Health Care Authority discussed cooperation with Fujifilm for training and qualifying medical staff, technicians, and medical device engineers on the latest technological methods and practices in health care, and establishing an advanced training center in Upper Egypt in line with the political leadership's focus on the development of Upper Egypt and achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.

The Head of the Health Care Authority aims to cooperate with Fujifilm to benefit from the company's technological advancements and transfer advanced Japanese expertise, localizing the latest international experiences in health care, and affirmed: Technology and Artificial Intelligence are the future of health care and enhance green transformation and sustainability.

The Regional Director of Fujifilm invited the Head of the Health Care Authority to attend the opening of the company's first headquarters in Egypt in September. The Head of the Authority confirmed: Universal health insurance opens promising investment opportunities in health care and achieves significant returns.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, the Head of the Health Care Authority and the General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, met with Mr. Mitsuo Kondo, the General Manager of Fujifilm for the Middle East and Africa, and Mr. Mohamed Kamal, the Regional Manager of the company in Egypt, at the Authority's headquarters in the administrative capital, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and exchange experiences.

The meeting reviewed the achievements of the Health Care Authority and the Universal Health Insurance Project in developing health care in Egypt, as well as the achievements of Fujifilm in applying the latest technologies and technologies in the field of medical diagnosis and health care. The meeting also discussed the joint goals in promoting innovation and progress in this field and ways to apply the latest technologies that contribute to improving the quality of health services.

The meeting was attended by the Health Care Authority, including Major General Hisham Shendi, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Telemedicine and Health Technology and General Manager of the General Department of Information Systems and Digital Transformation, Dr. Nashwa Gouda, a member of the Technical Office of the Chairman of the Authority, and Engineer Ahmed Hassan, General Supervisor of Medical Equipment Supplies at the Authority.
