During the Africa Health ExCon 2024, the Chief of Egypt Healthcare Authority discussed enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in healthcare with the Minister of Health of Cape Verde.
The Chief of Egypt Healthcare Authority is exploring cooperation with Cape Verde to transfer Egyptian medical and healthcare expertise and develop training and medical education programs and healthcare technology to improve health capabilities.
The cooperation with Cape Verde includes transferring the Egypt Healthcare Authority's expertise in hospital management, healthcare facilities, developing programs for health initiatives and awareness, and transferring expertise in organizing healthcare services and developing health policies.
The Chief of Egypt Healthcare Authority is also focusing on developing medical tourism and providing outstanding medical and therapeutic services to international patients from Cape Verde at the authority's hospitals in Egypt, aiming to open new markets for medical tourism to maximize investment and the authority's resources.
The Chief emphasized transferring Egyptian expertise and successful experiences to African countries to pursue health development and enhance healthcare in the African region, capitalizing on every opportunity to highlight the successes of the Egyptian state in health reform and universal health insurance, which will be completed by 2030.
The Minister of Health of Cape Verde observed the significant leap and technological advancements and innovations in healthcare at the Egypt Healthcare Authority's booth at the Africa Health Exhibition, highlighting a qualitative leap in healthcare that reflects the vision of the Egyptian political leadership in developing the healthcare sector to a global level of technological advancement and service quality.
The Minister of Health of Cape Verde looks forward to cooperating and exchanging expertise with the Egypt Healthcare Authority to enhance health capabilities and elevate medical services in her country to global standards.
