Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Authority, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Care Authority and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank—Egypt, which aims to develop financial and technical services within the Authority's medical and administrative facilities and support its efforts in strengthening the infrastructure and facilitating financial transactions for patients and workers alike.
Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Authority, witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Care Authority and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank—Egypt, which aims to develop financial and technical services within the Authority's medical and administrative facilities and support its efforts in strengthening the infrastructure and facilitating financial transactions for patients and workers alike.
The protocol with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank—Egypt included providing automated teller machines (ATM) and electronic collection machines (POS) in the Authority's medical and administrative facilities, organizing workshops and training programs to qualify cadres on operating mechanisms, in addition to participating in conferences and scientific activities within social responsibility programs, and providing packages of distinguished services to the Authority's employees.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki stressed that this partnership comes within the framework of the Authority's strategy to enhance cooperation with major banking institutions, provide innovative solutions that support digital transformation in the health sector, and achieve ease and flexibility in providing services to citizens.
Pointing out that the protocol supports the provision of advanced banking and technical solutions that contribute to improving the patient experience and facilitating financial transactions for visitors to facilities, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 in enhancing health and financial services alike.
The Healthcare Authority was represented in signing the protocol by Dr. Amir Al-Talwani, Executive Director of the Authority, while Mr. Adel Hashem, Head of Retail Banking and Financial Inclusion, authorized Mr. Ibrahim Al-Far, General Manager and Head of the Strategic Relations Sector, to sign the protocol, representing Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank – Egypt, in the presence of Mr. Tamer Kamel, Deputy General Manager and Head of the Corporate and Retail Banking Sector, and Ms. Dina Al-Najjar, Assistant General Manager and Head of Strategic Relations, and Mr. Walid Yassin, Assistant Director General of the Product Development Sector and Salary Customer Segments.
On the part of the Health Care Authority, the signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mahmoud El-Deeb, Assistant Executive Director for Health Mapping Affairs; Director General of the General Administration of the Technical Office of the Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Moamen El-Ashmawy, Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Follow-up of Strategic Projects; and Dr. Hala Hassanein, Technical Follow-up Officer in the Office of the Advisor to the Chairman of the Authority for Follow-up of Strategic Projects.
