The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority inspected the El Nasr Specialized Hospital, the Ophthalmology Specialized Hospital, and the Al-Shifa Medical Complex. It surveyed citizens' opinions on the medical services provided.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority inspected the Family Medicine Physical Therapy Center and Family Medicine Unit Climate 2 and assured the quality of family medicine services.

The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority honored the team of the Port Said Ophthalmology Hospital for receiving international accreditation as a sustainable green hospital from the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals (GGHH).


Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, conducted an inspection tour of several healthcare facilities belonging to the Authority in Port Said, one of the first governorates to implement the comprehensive health insurance system, during his field visit to the governorate.

During the tour, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky inspected the El Nasr Specialized Hospital for Children, the Ophthalmology Specialized Hospital, and the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, where he visited various departments including reception, emergency, outpatient clinics, inpatient departments, catheterization, intensive care units, pharmacies, laboratories, radiology, among others.

Dr. El-Sobky continued his tour by visiting the Family Medicine Physical Therapy Center and the Climate (2) Family Medicine Unit, where he inspected reception areas, first aid rooms, family medicine clinics, various specialty clinics, dental clinics in the two healthcare facilities, and offices for the elderly, aiming to ensure the efficiency of the family medicine system and primary healthcare services in the governorate.

During his inspection tour, the Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority made it a point to speak with medical and administrative staff at the healthcare facilities, to listen to their suggestions for improving healthcare services, and to survey citizens' opinions about the quality of medical services provided, aiming to enhance the level of healthcare and meet the needs and expectations of citizens in the best possible way.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky noted that more than 16 million medical and therapeutic services have been provided in the healthcare facilities of the Authority to beneficiaries of the comprehensive health insurance in Port Said to date, with high quality.

Dr. El-Sobky added that 44 healthcare facilities operated by the Authority in Port Said have been launched, including a green hospital internationally recognized by the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals (GGHH) network, which is the Ophthalmology Specialized Hospital, in addition to 100% of the facilities being accredited nationally by GAHAR, internationally recognized by the ESCWA organization to ensure service quality.

During the visit, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky honored the team of the Port Said Ophthalmology Hospital for achieving international accreditation as a sustainable green hospital from the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals (GGHH).

At the end of the visit, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky expressed appreciation for the efforts made to improve healthcare services in Port Said, affirming that the Authority will continue working to enhance the quality of healthcare and expand the range of services provided to citizens, in line with the state's vision for achieving sustainable development.
