The Chairman of EHA discussed with the Regional Director of Mindray the cooperation and technology transfer from China to Egypt

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority discussed with the Regional Director of Mindray the cooperation and technology transfer from China to Egypt and coordinated with the relevant state agencies and the private sector.

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority explored cooperation with Mindray to train healthcare providers, medical engineers, and specialists to exchange expertise in the latest technologies, devices, and medical techniques, ensuring the application of best practices in healthcare.

The Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority discussed cooperation with Mindray to implement innovative solutions in remote medical care using the Internet of Things (IoT), aiming to expand services, improve patient experience, enhance integrated medical care, and reduce health costs.

The Regional Director for North Africa at Mindray expressed pride in their cooperation with the Egypt Health Care Authority, looking forward to tangible steps in developing the medical device industry and enhancing innovation in the health sector.


Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority and Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance project, met with Mr. Eric Li, Regional Director of Mindray for North Africa, and Mr. Nick Peng, Director of Marketing and Sales for the company in North Africa, Mr. Sukri, Director of Marketing and Sales in the Middle East, Mr. Islam Musleh, Director of Sales and Marketing in Egypt, and Mr. Mustafa El-Baroudi, Product Specialist at the company, at the Authority's headquarters in Cairo.

The meeting discussed the opportunities for cooperation between the two parties and the technology transfer from China to Egypt, coordinated with the relevant state bodies and the private sector. The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in training medical personnel and implementing innovative solutions. The discussion focused on how to achieve a strategic partnership that contributes to the development of the healthcare sector in Egypt and enhances investment in this area.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Egypt Health Care Authority, confirmed that the meeting discussed cooperation with Mindray in training healthcare providers, medical engineers, and specialists to exchange experiences in the latest technologies, devices, and medical techniques, ensuring the application of best practices in healthcare.

Dr. El-Sobky discussed cooperation with Mindray to implement innovative solutions in remote medical care using the Internet of Things (IoT) to expand services, improve patient experiences, enhance integrated medical care, and reduce health costs in line with the goals and vision of the Authority.

Dr. El-Sobky emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Egypt Health Care Authority and Mindray, affirming the continuation of enhancing strategic partnerships aimed at developing the healthcare infrastructure in Egypt. He stressed that these partnerships foster innovation and contribute to providing high-quality medical services by international standards, noting that the Authority will continue its efforts to develop infrastructure, medical and therapeutic services, develop human resources, and utilize advanced technologies and techniques to ensure the best healthcare for citizens within the framework of the Universal Health Insurance project.

Mr. Eric Li, Regional Director for North Africa at Mindray, expressed pride in their cooperation with the Egypt Health Care Authority, looking forward to achieving tangible steps in developing the medical device industry and enhancing innovation in the health sector. Mr. Li added that the partnership with the Egypt Health Care Authority is an important opportunity to enhance knowledge and technology exchange, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare and expanding the range of services provided in the region.
