Concluding his participation in the Arab Health 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Dubai, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, conducted an inspection visit to the International Radiology Center in Sharjah. The visit aimed to explore the latest technological advancements in medical diagnostics and assess their potential integration within Egypt’s healthcare system.
Dr. El-Sobky also visited the Egyptian Pavilion at Arab Health 2025, where he engaged with representatives of leading Egyptian companies participating in the exhibition. During the visit, he reviewed cutting-edge innovations in health technology and advanced medical diagnostics, highlighting the significant progress of Egypt’s medical and technological industries. He commended the strong Egyptian presence at the exhibition, emphasizing that it reflects the remarkable growth and competitiveness of the country’s healthcare sector on a global scale.
During his concluding remarks, Dr. El-Sobky announced that the Healthcare Authority will launch several AI-powered applications this year, designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy by more than 90%. These applications will play a pivotal role in improving healthcare quality in Egypt, streamlining clinical decision-making, and strengthening the digital healthcare transformation.
He reiterated the Healthcare Authority’s commitment to adopting the latest technological advancements to support Egypt’s healthcare digitization efforts, ensuring that cutting-edge solutions contribute to patient safety, efficiency, and service excellence.
In parallel with his visit, Dr. El-Sobky conducted a series of high-level meetings with leading international health technology companies, focusing on collaboration in digital health, AI integration, and advanced medical diagnostics.
He stressed that partnerships with global companies are crucial for strengthening Egypt’s Universal Health Insurance System, as they contribute to the transfer and localization of advanced medical technologies within the Healthcare Authority’s facilities.
