Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chairman of the Authority for Health Care, received Engineer Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, at the Authority's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital in order to follow up on the results of the recent field visit that included a number of the Authority's facilities in the governorate this month.
During the meeting, it was agreed to take a number of important decisions to strengthen the health system in Luxor Governorate, most notably starting to implement a specialized kidney transplant center in Esna to be an integrated medical edifice to serve the people of Upper Egypt, in addition to establishing an integrated clinic complex in the city of Esna to expand the scope of medical services provided to citizens and facilitate their access to high-quality health care.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki stressed that these decisions come as an extension of the Authority's efforts to provide specialized medical services in line with the highest standards of quality and accreditation, noting that what is achieved in Luxor embodies the keenness of the state and the political leadership to advance Upper Egypt governorates and achieve sustainable health development.
For his part, the governor of Luxor praised the efforts made by the Authority in developing health facilities in the governorate, stressing his full support for the authority's projects that aim to improve the level of services and meet citizens' health needs, and stressing the importance of integration between all state institutions to achieve the system's goals.
