The Healthcare Authority announces the successful accreditation of the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases in Ismailia Governorate according to the internationally recognized GAHAR2021 standards by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua).

The Healthcare Authority: 800,000 medical services were provided at the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases with the highest international quality standards for beneficiaries within the Universal Health Insurance system, including 200,000 dialysis sessions and 11 kidney transplants with global success rates.

President of the Healthcare Authority: The June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases is equipped with the latest global facilities and qualified to perform major surgeries and kidney transplants. The cost of equipping the dialysis unit at the center is 30 million EGP.

President of the Healthcare Authority: The June 30 International Center for Kidney Diseases is the first specialized center in kidney disease treatment in the governorates implementing the Universal Health Insurance system to receive accreditation according to globally recognized national standards. It is also the first center to receive a kidney transplant license in the Canal Region according to the standard requirements of the Supreme Committee for Organ Transplantation.

The General Authority for Healthcare announced the successful accreditation of the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases in Ismailia Governorate, passing the national accreditation standards (GAHAR) recognized internationally by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua).

The statement by the Healthcare Authority clarified the medical and therapeutic services provided at the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases since the launch of the Universal Health Insurance system in the governorate until now, surpassing 800,000 services including over 9,000 surgeries and surgical interventions, ranging from major, advanced, and skilled operations, in addition to conducting nearly 200,000 dialysis sessions.

The statement added that the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases has a capacity of 108 dialysis machines, plus 3 operating rooms following the capsule system used in the world's largest medical institutions. The center is equipped with advanced facilities for kidney transplant operations and provides all medical and therapeutic packages for patients according to the latest global guidelines and protocols for kidney diseases such as acute and chronic kidney failure, general kidney diseases, dialysis, kidney stones, and nephritis. The center includes a team of highly skilled consultants and specialists to ensure the best services according to international quality standards, with the dialysis unit's equipment costing 30 million EGP.

The kidney transplant program at the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases in Ismailia includes a multidisciplinary team with extensive expertise, capable of meeting all kidney patients' needs efficiently from the beneficiaries of the Universal Health Insurance system. The center has successfully conducted 11 kidney transplants with global success rates for Universal Health Insurance system beneficiaries.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Chief of the Healthcare Authority and Supervisor General of the Universal Health Insurance and Hayat Karema projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases is the first specialized center in kidney disease treatment in the governorates implementing the Universal Health Insurance system to be accredited according to international standards. It is also the first center to receive a kidney transplant license in the Canal Region according to the standard requirements of the Supreme Committee for Organ Transplantation. This contributes to increasing the confidence of those dealing with the Universal Health Insurance system in the medical and therapeutic services provided, which align with the highest international quality standards.

The Chief of the Healthcare Authority expressed his happiness for the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases in Ismailia, under the General Authority for Healthcare, to achieve the national accreditation GAHAR for three years. He appreciated the efforts of the center's staff and everyone who contributed their effort to meet the accreditation standards according to international quality requirements.
