Chairman of Egypt Healthcare Authority: The 5th Annual Forum Highlights Positive Transformation in the Healthcare Sector and Serves as an Ideal Platform to Foster Collaboration and Partnerships in Pursuit of Excellence and Sustainable Progress in Line with Egypt’s Vision 2030
Under the auspices of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, and in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, the Egypt Healthcare Authority today launches its 5th Annual International Forum in the New Administrative Capital, under the theme "Towards Global Excellence in Healthcare Services." This event underscores the Authority's commitment to setting high standards in healthcare and aligning with global advancements, reflecting its ambitious vision to achieve leadership in the healthcare sector both locally and internationally.
Dr. Ahmed El-Sebki, Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project, stated that this year’s forum represents a unique gathering of health sector leaders, senior officials, governors, ambassadors, heads of health authorities, representatives of health unions and organizations, media, thought leaders, and partners from both the private and civil sectors, alongside healthcare experts from the Arab world and beyond.
Dr. El-Sebki explained that the forum would highlight the key achievements of the Egypt Healthcare Authority over the past five years, focusing on its efforts to attain leadership in healthcare service delivery both locally, regionally, and internationally. The forum will also see the signing of 12 cooperation agreements with leading healthcare companies, major civil society organizations, and large international institutions. It will feature interactive sessions discussing the building of global trust in healthcare, promoting quality and innovation, and fostering strategic partnerships to ensure sustainability.
The forum will also include screenings of documentaries and real-life stories illustrating the Authority’s accomplishments, as the key government body responsible for overseeing and organizing the comprehensive health insurance system. These efforts reflect the Authority's pivotal role in achieving a qualitative leap in healthcare services.
Dr. El-Sebki emphasized that the forum promotes a culture of excellence and acknowledges the hard work of the staff by presenting annual excellence awards to employees of the Authority and its branches and facilities within the provinces covered by the Universal Health Insurance System. This is to honor the top staff who contributed to the significant improvement in service delivery. He further noted that the forum serves as an annual opportunity for employees to exchange experiences, share successful practices, and strengthen cooperation across teams, enhancing performance and achieving the Authority’s vision of providing world-class healthcare services.
He concluded by stating that the 5th Annual Forum symbolizes the positive transformation in Egypt's healthcare sector, highlighting the Authority's role in strengthening its leadership locally and regionally. He added that the forum provides an ideal platform for encouraging all active stakeholders, including success partners and relevant bodies, to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing, contributing to the sustainable development and excellence of healthcare services, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for a healthier future.
