The Egypt Healthcare Authority signed a cooperation protocol with Alpha Medical Group, Alpha Labs, and Alpha Scan for Radiology in the fields of training healthcare providers in the management and operation of medical laboratories and radiology, the latest technologies and devices, and international standards.

The Minister of Health and Population expressed his happiness with the signing of the cooperation protocol between the Healthcare Authority and Alpha Medical Group, affirming that the cooperation enhances the quality of healthcare services and the development of medical training.

The head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Alpha Medical Group to enhance the exchange of expertise and the effectiveness and efficiency of medical laboratories and radiology in the healthcare facilities affiliated with the Authority, in line with the Authority's strategy for continuous education and training to keep up with the latest scientific and technological developments globally.

The President of Alpha Medical Group, Alpha Labs, and Alpha Scan for Radiology expressed his happiness with the cooperation with the Healthcare Authority, affirming that the Healthcare Authority has made significant progress in the medical services provided in its affiliated facilities.


The Egypt Healthcare Authority announced the signing of a bilateral cooperation protocol with Alpha Medical Group, Alpha Labs, and Alpha Scan for Radiology during the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference 2024, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from January 29 to February 1, 2024, under the slogan "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future in Healthcare."

The protocol was signed by Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Honorable Minister of Health and Population; Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population. Dr. Amir Talwani, the Executive Director of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, represented the Authority, and Dr. Adel Samir Talaat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alpha Medical Group, Alpha Labs, and Alpha Scan for Radiology, represented the group.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, expressed his happiness with the signing of the cooperation protocol between the Egypt Healthcare Authority and Alpha Medical Group, Alpha Labs, and Alpha Scan for Radiology, to improve health capabilities and the quality of management of medical laboratories and radiology with a focus on the latest technologies and international standards, confirming that the cooperation enhances the quality of healthcare services and the development of medical training, positively reflecting on the level of services and care provided to citizens.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, head of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Alpha Medical Group to enhance the exchange of expertise and the effectiveness and efficiency of medical laboratories and radiology in the healthcare facilities in the provinces implementing the comprehensive health insurance system, in line with the Authority's strategy for continuous education and training of medical, administrative, and technical staff to keep up with the latest scientific and technological developments in healthcare globally.

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky also highlighted the importance of cooperation for participation in the Authority's free health initiatives to increase citizens' awareness in the provinces implementing the system about various diseases and early detection to enhance individual and community health.

El-Sobky affirmed the Healthcare Authority's commitment to enhancing partnerships with the private sector at the global, regional, and local levels, emphasizing the strategic role of partnerships in continuously developing the quality of healthcare, enhancing investment, and achieving Egypt's 2030 goals.

Dr. Adel Samir Talaat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alpha Medical Group, Alpha Labs, and Alpha Scan for Radiology, expressed his happiness with the cooperation protocol signing with the Healthcare Authority, affirming that the Healthcare Authority has made significant progress in the healthcare sector and the medical services provided in its affiliated facilities, looking forward to ideal cooperation with the Healthcare Authority in the coming period.

Both parties, through the cooperation protocol signing, agreed to enhance the partnership concept between the government and private sectors to improve healthcare quality. This includes offering training programs with the latest international standards for medical, administrative, and technical staff in the healthcare facilities affiliated with the Healthcare Authority in the provinces implementing the comprehensive health insurance system, exchanging expertise, fostering innovation in healthcare through joint research in diagnostic and treatment technologies according to the latest technological advancements, and training staff to qualify medical laboratories in the Authority's healthcare facilities for accreditation according to the latest international standards. Additionally, they agreed on the Healthcare Authority's participation in health initiatives to provide more healthcare to citizens in the provinces implementing the system, enhancing health awareness, participating in organizing significant health events and conferences, and exploring joint investment opportunities in healthcare.

The protocol signing was attended by leaders and managers from different departments within the Egypt Healthcare Authority, as well as representatives from Alpha Medical Group, including Dr. Amr Osama, the Executive Director of Alpha Scan Centers for Radiology; Dr. Ismail Badran, the Executive Director of Alpha Labs; Dr. Soha Atef, the Commercial Director of Alpha Labs; and Mr. Ali Talaat, the Financial Analyst at Alpha Medical Group.
