The Egypt HealthCare Authority reveals the results of the campaign "Check Your Son" for the academic year 2024/2025 in the governorates of comprehensive health insurance within two months of its launch.

Egypt HealthCare Authority: Disclosure 140,000 students so far.. The campaign continued in Port Said, Luxor, Ismailia, and South Sinai governorates until September 2024.

Egypt HealthCare announced the medical examinations carried out for schoolchildren as part of the campaign "Check Your Son", which was launched by the Authority to assure the health of school students at kindergarten, Kg1, first graders, and transferees to the first grade and first grade secondary, through the governorates of official operation comprehensive health insurance "Port Said, Luxor, Ismailia, and South Sri Sinai".

The statement explained that the medical examinations of students include (general disclosure from the family doctor, full nursing evaluation of students, measurement of vision, skin exposures, intellectual, visual, audiovisual, and dental disabilities, comprehensive analysis of complete blood image, blood type, and RH), as well as a number of other medical examinations that help to detect early diseases, especially chronic ones, to ascertain students' health, mental, physical and intellectual level.

The Authority noted the importance of comprehensive medical examinations for students to ensure their health, physical integrity, and mental and intellectual development, which are in line with the efforts of the Egyptian State and presidential health initiatives to pay attention to the public health of citizens, especially children and young people because they represent the country's future, which contributes to the early detection and treatment of diseases immediately through the provision of medical service and the provision of the necessary health care and care for them.


Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki, Head of the Egypt HealthCare Authority and General Supervisor of Comprehensive Health Insurance and Dignified Life Projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the campaign "Check your son" for medical examination of school children for the academic year 2024/2025, aims to carry out disclosures for more than 250 thousand students of different age groups and school stages in the governorates of Port Said, Luxor, Ismailia and South.

Noting that the campaign "Check Your Son" was able to screen 56% of the students targeted by the campaign for 2024/2025 within two months of its launch, In Port Said governorate, more than 28,000 students were examined. A total of 66 students were examined at the various levels of study in Luxor governorate. In the governorate of Ismailia, the above-mentioned medical examinations were conducted for more than 43 thousand students, and in South Sinai more than 20000 students from different age groups Total 140,000 students in the governorates of official health insurance insurance.

The President of the Egypt HealthCare Authority added that the campaign is complementary and consistent with the presidential initiatives launched in the field of health, which included initiatives (Elimination of C virus among school students, early detection of obesity, anemia, and dwarfism diseases, detection of impairment and hearing loss in newborns), and children in particular, about the need for healthy lifestyles, including healthy nutrition for children, to protect children from any potential diseases.

Referring to the diversion of cases of any of the diseases revealed by medical examinations for school students health centers and health units of the Egypt HealthCare Authority of the new comprehensive health insurance system in the aforementioned governorates, To complete the necessary tests and dispense the treatment free of charge. The special data and the results of the medical examinations of these students are also recorded in the electronic medical records of them according to the method followed in accordance with the comprehensive health insurance system. To follow them periodically and check their state of health continuously, through 159 family medicine centers and units offering comprehensive health insurance services in the four governorates.
