The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority stated that the virtual hospital will represent a qualitative leap in the field of healthcare and will include 9 integrated clinics for telemedicine, 4 groups for remote intensive care services (Tele-ICU), and a program for telecardiology.

Dr. Ahmed El Sabki, Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority and the General Supervisor of the universal health insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, conducted an inspection visit today to the construction site of the new virtual hospital belonging to the Authority in Ismailia Governorate.
This visit was part of Dr. Ahmed El Sabki's trip to Ismailia Governorate today, during which he inspected the Ismailia Medical Complex, the June 30 International Center for Kidney and Urology Diseases, the Emergency and Precision Surgery Hospital in Abu Khalifa, and the Mercy Family Medicine Center, to ensure smooth operations and the provision of the best services and healthcare to patients and all clients.
The Chief of the Egypt Healthcare Authority explained that the virtual hospital will include units of 9 integrated clinics for telemedicine, 4 groups for remote intensive care services (Tele ICU), and a program for telecardiology, emphasizing that the virtual hospital represents a breakthrough in the world of healthcare, and will offer its specialized services to several hospitals affiliated with the Authority in the governorates covered by universal health insurance, in line with Egypt’s vision for sustainable health development 2030.
Dr. Ahmed El Sabki expressed satisfaction with the progress made in the construction so far, highlighting the importance of the hospital in enhancing the health capacity of citizens and improving the quality of medical services provided to them. He affirmed the Authority's ongoing progress in completing the hospital according to the highest medical and technological standards.
